How-do-you-do guys,

New here, I have one problem. I have logitech M720 wireless USB mouse with unifying reciever. The affair is, that due to the new "standby" sleep state, wireless mouse is still active, even after PC was supposed to be in the sleep mode. So, every fourth dimension I shut the laptop, and move it away, with the mouse, the mouse wakes up the estimator. It is really annoying.

Usually, I would become to device director, HID-compliant mouse, ability managment, and uncheck "permit this device to wake the computer". Simply at that place is no power "managment tab" in the mouse.

And for the "logitech USB input device", ability managment tab is visible, but "allow this device to wake the computer" is grayed out.

Any Thought?

Same hither. Logitech M510, Windows x, no new standby slumber sate. The simply "solution" I have found is to turn off the mouse.

I accept a Swiftpont Propoint mouse where the result was the software came with it that was resetting the idle timer every bit I was using Idle Clock v1.0 to observe the effect. Swiftpoint fixed it in an blastoff version of the software which is still unreleased as of this date. The solution for me was to impale the process GT3.exe which was the Swiftpoint Command Panel Software, hopefully there is something similar for the Logitech.

Hej, I have the latest logitech options installed, and I also tryed to update mouse firmware and is the latest equally well.

Just I really don't think that this is logitech fault. In my oppinion, the problem is, that in the slumber or standby way, usb port is nonetheless powered so mouse is connected to it. What I would like is a settings, that would disable mouse from waking up the PC, only somehow it is not bachelor.

This drove me nuts for a while. Here's what stock-still information technology for me. I accept (one) Logitech wired keyboard and (one) Logitech wireless mouse. In device manager under 'keyboards' Windows lists two devices - HID keyboard device and Logitech HID compliant keyboard. Under 'Mice and other pointing devices' information technology lists 2 devices -HID compliant mouse and Logitech HID compliant unifying mouse. When I unchecked 'allow this device to wake computer' on everything but Logitech HID compliant keyboard, the mouse no longer woke the computer.

Hullo guys,

New here, I accept one trouble. I have logitech M720 wireless USB mouse with unifying reciever. The matter is, that due to the new "standby" sleep state, wireless mouse is nonetheless active, fifty-fifty after PC was supposed to be in the sleep mode. And then, every time I close the laptop, and move information technology away, with the mouse, the mouse wakes upward the computer. It is really annoying.

Usually, I would get to device director, HID-compliant mouse, power managment, and uncheck "allow this device to wake the reckoner". But there is no power "managment tab" in the mouse.

And for the "logitech USB input device", power managment tab is visible, but "allow this device to wake the reckoner" is grayed out.

Any Thought?

I'm non sure why but I have the option to turn off Allow this device to wake the estimator for my Logitech keyboard and mouse.

I have seen options to switch the devices decision-making the pc power in the bios. Each motherboard manufacturer has a slightly different fashion to exercise information technology.
