How To Setup Ssi App For Android

This application will allow an SSI recipient, a recipient's representative payee, or an individual whose income helps an SSI recipient meet their basic needs (like a parent or a spouse) report their gross monthly wages to Social Security from the convenience of their smartphone.

This is an app that needs major work!

I use the app cause it is convenient and easy for me to report my wages at the beginning of each month. The app is a great idea and tool but is a pain to use when it has problems or errors when getting all the way to the end where you hit submit and then it has a problem or an error and you can't submit your wages. I don't want to have to wait a day or two for the app to work correctly! The app shouldn't always have issues! The app always seems to have an issue almost every time I have used it. For an app for a government agency it should not have as many issues, errors and glitches as it does.. I only recommend the app for convenience but give it 2 stars for everything else.

Does not work!!

I started "working" for a food delivery service (you know the one) in February. At the beginning of March, I attempted to report my earnings through the app but it didn't work. Called SS, waited for 45 minutes on hold, then got through to someone who said they needed to put the info on file before the app would work. But I was told that it should definitely work the next month.

Flash forward to this week. I attempted to report my earnings for March through the app... but it still didn't work. Called again, this time was on hold for an hour and a half. Only to be told that they couldn't take my earnings over the phone. What?? She also mentioned something about going in to the local office so they could help me with "app training." Trust me, it's not on my end.

Not surprised tbh, SS is an absolute mess, but still infuriating to wait for an hour and a half for a three minute "discussion."

Possible bug may be glitchy

I'm totally I and I've complained about how I'm unable to report my wages successfully electronically and my SSA rep fixed it so I could report wages in the system however when I tried to do this for the month of March, once I got to the submit button and didn't see that unknown error, I did see it say this time that it can't connect to my device and to try again or check the network connection and if it still persists call a number that it displays. So annoying. PEOPLE PLEASE do the blind folk and other people a favor test your product out before new releases and keep in mind accessibility for all and simple. I'll be more than happy to test it out for you if you wish. blind Is
